Private Reference, Not a Records Office. Town of Hamburg Residents Directory is privately operated. It cannot obtain or certify records, confirm a person's address, change a public roll, or remove a record from a custodian's system. Direct those requests to the office that created or maintains the record. For an emergency, call 911. Report stalking or harassment to local law enforcement.
Where Hamburg Records Are Kept
Use the record type to choose the right custodian. The address and ownership trail is collected on the By Street page. Older printed address volumes are described in City Directories, while the Resident Lookup page focuses on checking one named person against official sources. The Town of Hamburg records offices overview separates Town, county, court, library, and archive roles.

For Town administrative records that are not online, use the Town's New York Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) request route. State the record, date range, address or SBL when applicable, and the office likely to hold it. FOIL does not require an agency to create a new resident list, and it does not override records that another law keeps closed.
